Points & Prizes

Understanding how points and prize pools work is key to maximizing your winnings.

How Points Work

Points determine your share of the prize pool if your team wins. More points = bigger slice of the pot.

Base Points Formula

SOL Traded × 100 = Base Points

Examples:

  • Trade 0.1 SOL = 10 points

  • Trade 0.5 SOL = 50 points

  • Trade 1.0 SOL = 100 points

  • Trade 5.0 SOL = 500 points

Volume Bonuses

Bigger trades earn multiplier bonuses:

Example (Bulls)

< 0.1 SOL

0.05 SOL = 5 + 0.5 = 5.5 points

0.1-0.5 SOL

+15%

0.3 SOL = 30 + 4.5 = 34.5 points

0.5-1 SOL

+20%

+10%

0.8 SOL = 80 + 16 = 96 points

1-5 SOL

+30%

+15%

2 SOL = 200 + 60 = 260 points

💎 5+ SOL

+50%

+25%

10 SOL = 1000 + 500 = 1,500 points

Holder Bonus (The Secret Weapon)

This is where it gets interesting.

How It Works

If you hold tokens, you earn passive bonus points on EVERY trade that happens in the round — even trades by other players.

Bonus per trade = (Your % of supply ÷ 0.1)
Maximum: +10 points per trade

Holder Bonus Calculation

Real Example

Scenario:

  • You hold 1% of token supply

  • You make 1 buy trade for 0.5 SOL

  • 49 other people also trade during the round

Your points:

  • Your trade: 50 base + 10 bonus = 60 points

  • Holder bonus: 50 trades × 10 = 500 points

  • Total: 560 points

You traded 0.5 SOL but earned 560 points. That's an 11x multiplier just from holding!

Strategy: Accumulate tokens early, hold them, then make small trades every round. The holder bonus compounds your points massively.

Payout Calculation

When your team wins, here's how payouts work:

Step 1: Calculate Prize Pool

Total Creator Fees Accumulated × Winner Split % = Winners' Pot

Example:

  • Creator fees accumulated: 2.5 SOL

  • Wave: RISING (70% to winners)

  • Winners' pot: 2.5 × 0.70 = 1.75 SOL

Step 2: Buy Tokens

System uses the winners' pot to buy tokens on pump.fun:

1.75 SOL buys ~850 tokens (example at current price)

Step 3: Distribute Proportionally

Each winner gets their share based on points:

Your Payout = (Your Points / Total Winning Team Points) × Total Tokens Bought

Example:

  • You: 200 points

  • Bulls total: 1,000 points

  • Tokens bought: 850

  • Your payout: (200 / 1,000) × 850 = 170 tokens

Step 4: Instant Transfer

Tokens sent directly to your wallet within seconds. No claiming required.

Maximizing Your Winnings

Option 1: Volume Strategy

  • Make many medium-sized trades (0.5-1 SOL)

  • Get volume bonuses (+20%)

  • Higher risk (more capital at risk)

Option 2: Holder Strategy

  • Accumulate tokens early

  • Make small trades (0.1 SOL)

  • Earn passive holder bonus on all trades

  • Lower risk, compounds over time

Option 3: Whale Strategy

  • Make large trades (5+ SOL)

  • Get maximum bonus (+50%)

  • Dominate the scoreboard

  • Very high risk

Option 4: Sniper Strategy

  • Wait until last 10 seconds

  • See which team is losing

  • Make large trade to flip outcome

  • Maximize points with minimal exposure

Common Questions

Q: Can I lose my tokens?

A: You only lose what you trade. If you buy 1 SOL of tokens and Bears win, you have the tokens but they might be worth less than 1 SOL. Classic trading risk.

Q: What if no one trades in a round?

A: No prize pool, no payouts. The game needs trading activity to generate fees.

Q: Can I play multiple rounds?

A: Yes! New round every 60 seconds. Play as many as you want.

Q: Does holder bonus work if I'm on the losing team?

A: You earn holder bonus points, but if your team loses, those points are worthless for that round. But you still have your tokens for the next round!

Q: What if I trade for both teams in the same round?

A: Your points are split across teams. If Bulls win, only your Bulls points count. Generally not a good strategy.

Prize Pool History

The live display typically shows:

  • Current round prize pool

  • Previous round payouts

  • Biggest winners

  • Total distributed today/this week

This transparency helps you judge when to play (big rounds) vs when to wait.

The Math Simplified

To win big, you need:

  1. Be on the winning team (price direction)

  2. Have the most points on that team (volume + bonuses)

  3. Play when prize pools are large (high trading volume)

  4. Trade when wave is RISING (80% to winners)

The perfect storm:

  • High trading volume (big prize pool)

  • Rising wave (80% to winners)

  • You hold 1%+ supply (holder bonus)

  • You make large trades (volume bonus)

  • Your team wins (price direction)

When all these align, payouts can be massive.
